This ad features a 3 1/2" BASIC ELEMENTS Chameleon Sherlock style smoking pipe in the general shape of an early light bulb . This pipe features many modern glass art techniques including silver fuming, double glass, and the integration of decorative ribbons. This pipe is great looking with a very smooth profile, a great joy to smoke and a good addition to your collection.
Like all chameleon silver fumed pipes the exact hue and glow from the pipe depends upon what background color you hold it against and the light sorce. When viewed against a black background (hold it against your black shirt to see an awesomely cool purple iridescent glow) it glows a purple iridescent color, against a white background it has a blue-yellow iridescent glow - a very cool and unique property of this unit.
To really bring out the iridescent glow set the pipe on a black cloth, and you could even experiment with different colors and see what colors you could pull out of the glass.
Keep in mind that these pipes are hand made and they will have natural variations that will make each unique, but always beautiful.
This pipe is about 3 1/2" long, with the head end of the pipe being a spherical shape as shown and about 1 1/2" in diameter with an air control hole on the RIGHT. The tobacco bowl itself is about 5/8" diameter x 1/2" deep. The stem of the pipe is about 3/4" at its narrowest point, expanding out to about 1" at the mouthpiece and at the head end of the pipe.
