Return and Refund Policy
Accepted Payment Types
We accept all major credit cards for payment and payment must be made in full for the ordered items prior to shipment. The appropriate sales tax will be withheld according to the current in force internet sales tax laws.
We ship from the USA
We ship throughout the United States from our warehouse in Youngsville, NC.
Shipping Times and Shipping Speed
Please note that the shipping time does not include the processing time for packaging up and creating orders. Orders generally ship within 2 days after receipt of your order during the normal work week (M-F). Orders placed after 5:00 pm Eastern Time on Friday and over the weekend will ship the following week. In the case of holiday or special sales, processing times can be between 3-4 days. Orders are not packaged on U.S Holidays and other instances in which the postal services are closed. Shipping times do not guarantee package arrival date.
Our packages are shipped to you in standard shipping boxes or yellow bubble envelopes. The standard return address is listed as The Hippie Momma Shop, but upon request this can be abbreviated as THMS to maintain confidentiality.
All our packages are shipped out via USPS. Tracking labels are sent out via email once the package is picked up by the post office. You will not receive a tracking number email until your package has been processed, packaged, and labeled for pick up by the postal service. If the package is returned to us by the USPS due to a mistake in the address, any reshipment costs will be charged to the buyer and any refund given will be reduced by the cost of initial shipping.
Items Broken in Shipping
ALL packages that are broken in shipping will be replaced with the same piece or an equivalent piece that has been agreed upon between The Hippie Momma Shop and the customer. Broken items must be photographed and sent by email to Donna@thehippiemommashop.com so it is documented, before a return package will be sent out. We must be informed of the break within two days of the customer receiving the package. Please do not return the broken item, this practice is not allowed by the USPS and could present a safety concern for mail handlers.
Also, please note that The Hippie Momma Shop will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by the handling of items damaged or broken during shipment. Every effort is made to package the items carefully and protect them from breakage.
The Hippie Momma Shop uses USPS First Class or Priority mail services that include package tracking information. Tracking information is available via the USPS website and includes detailed travel history down to the physical package scan in front of the delivery address. If the USPS delivery system indicates that the package was delivered at the delivery address, the package will be considered delivered. The Hippie Momma Shop will not be responsible for the package after this delivery confirmation is provided by the USPS.
If your item arrived damaged or you suspect that it may be defective. Contact customer service immediately and we will be happy to personally assist you.
We accept returns on all unused products up to 14 days after the order has been placed. If the product has been used, we cannot accept the return.
