This ad features a 4" GAMBLER'S PIPE glass smoking pipe with inside ribbons, a silver fumed background, a right side gripping feature, a left side air control hole and 2 resting feet under the head end of the pipe . This pipe is made with thick borosilicate glass, and employs a modern silver fuming process. This pipe is great looking, robust, and a good addition to your collection.
Like all chameleon silver fumed pipes the exact hue and glow from the pipe depends upon what background color you hold it against and the light sorce. When viewed against a black background (hold it against your black shirt to see an awesomely cool purple iridescent glow) it glows a purple iridescent color, against a white background it has a blue-yellow iridescent glow - a very cool and unique property of this unit.
To really bring out the iridescent glow set the pipe on a black cloth, and you could even experiment with different colors and see what colors you could pull out of the glass.
Keep in mind that these pipes are hand made and they will have natural variations in size, color and accents that will make each unique, and the design will be one of the 2 shown in the last slide.
This pipe is about 4" long, with the head end of the pipe a mostly spherical shape as shown and about 1 1/2" wide with an air control hole on the left. The tobacco bowl itself is about 3/4" diameter x 5/8" deep. The stem of the pipe is about 7/8" just under the bowl end tapering in to about 3/4" at the mouthpiece.
